To the left you see a wood stove surround and hearth built with Pritchard Slate Flagstone. The beautiful coloring is from oxidation of iron ore. The art deco style
was designed by G Karl Marcus. These pictures were taken before the work was completed, but reflect the beauty of the stone very well. Oxidation of the iron in this stone creates a warm
array of earth-tones. Thin Pritchard Slate Flagstone is ideally suited for entryways and walls where weight is a consideration. This material is available in thicknesses of 1/4" to 4". |
